Fashion was once just a word for those who can afford - the bourgeois
and the elites. When the industrial revolution came, everything changed; almost
everyone can already afford the most fashionable clothes they want to have. And
this was also the time when fashion hit the mainstream until now. We are all
oriented with the idea that “fashion is comfort” and I will always agree on
this. But when we say comfort, what does that really mean to you?
Comfort according to the Webster’s dictionary, it is to feel
less worried, upset, frightened etc. This is always true, and for me, there are
two types of comfort – the Physical Comfort and the Psychological Comfort. Well
unfortunately, people's understanding on comfort these days gone wrong. Most people
are already focusing on the physical comfort and when I say most, I mean the
MAINSTREAMERS.
Physical comfort from the word itself physical, it is always
about how you feel on the outside. In fashion, it is always about the tightness
of the clothes, how the clothes fit with the climate of a certain place, the
color matching and the design. It is always about the five senses. And this is
what the mainstreamers have understood about fashion.
Psychological comfort is all about how you feel when you’re
wearing something - WEIRD OR NOT. If you are a real fashion enthusiast, you
will never think how people will judge you with what you are wearing as long as
it will make you feel good. You will not even care if you are wearing the cheapest
clothing line or the weirdest styles as long as you are happy with what you are
wearing.

To end this ranting, all I can say is you should wear
whatever you want to wear. Never care on how people will judge you because
those people are just asshole mainstreamers. They were made to be brainless,
they’re all dumb! And they are just carbon copies. Be proud for being
different, BECAUSE INDIFFERENCE IS UNIQUENESS.
